Draft RPP: New Vaccine Platforms (NVP)
Solicitation Description
DRAFT – FOR ADVANCE NOTICE AND TEAMING PURPOSES ONLY.
This Draft Request for Project Proposals (RPP) is being released for informational purposes to provide prospective offerors with advance notice of a potential upcoming solicitation and to facilitate teaming and partnership discussions.
The objective of the NVP Program is to identify new vaccine platforms for the BARDA MCM portfolio and advance them through an initial manufacturing and nonclinical capability demonstration to identify technologies that are (1) safe; (2) effective across multiple infectious disease threats from different pathogen families; and (3) support development and manufacturing that would enable an effective response during an emerging national health security incident.
Advancing vaccine platforms that are safe and adaptable across multiple infectious disease threats, and enable streamlined development and manufacturing will help ensure the U.S. MCM portfolio is optimally positioned to respond efficiently and effectively to national health security incidents.
