Common Membership Questions

Who should join?

RRPV membership is open to organizations interested in supporting the development of medical countermeasures and mission relevant technologies. This includes small and large businesses, startups, academic institutions, nonprofit research organizations, and other entities with relevant technical, scientific, or operational capabilities.

What are the requirements and responsibilities of being a RRPV member?

Members must complete the membership application process and maintain an active agreement with RRPV. Responsibilities include complying with consortium policies, responding to applicable solicitations as appropriate, and supporting collaborative research and development efforts aligned with BARDA priorities.

Is there a cost to participate in RRPV?

There is no initiation fee and there are no annual membership dues.

How long will it take to get the membership application approved after a company submits?

Once a complete application is submitted, approvals are typically processed within a short timeframe. The exact timing may vary depending on application completeness and review volume, but RRPV aims to review applications as efficiently as possible.

How long does the process take?

The overall membership process, from application submission to approval, is designed to be streamlined and efficient. Most organizations can expect the process to take only a few weeks, provided all required documentation is submitted promptly.

How much are annual dues?

There are NO annual membership fees and there is NO initiation fee to join.

Can an international company participate?

Yes. International companies may participate in RRPV. However, eligibility to respond to specific solicitations may be subject to additional requirements, restrictions, or U.S. government regulations depending on the nature of the opportunity.
